Project Brief​

The West Rail Trail project is divided into two phases:


PHASE 01_ RESEARCH/FINDINGS/CASE STUDIES

Phase_01 is an introduction to the site, an eight-mile abandoned railroad corridor located in the city of Brownsville, Texas. The railroad suggests two main extremities: the Flea Market and the U.S. - Mexico border wall. This first phase focuses on exploring and analyzing the existing conditions of the site.

PHASE 02 _INTERVENTION

Phase_02 consists of three different components:

 

  1. Mapping

  2. Idea Modeling

  3. Design
